Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
At check-in time, please select "Key" from the NOT A HOTEL app or website to display your reservation card.
Tap "Check-in" to complete the check-in process. After check-in, the house key will be displayed.
Tapping "Unlock" on the house key will unlock the door. Alternatively, you can tap "Show Code" and enter the displayed PIN code on the iPad next to the entrance to unlock the door.
Show Code will display the authentication code. Select "Unlock the Door Lock" on the nearby intercom and enter the authentication code to unlock the key.
After check-in, all unlockable keys inside the house will be displayed on the key screen.
Tap the Unlock button of the key you want to unlock to unlock the door.
To display the Code, the verification code will be displayed. Select Unlock the Door Lock on the intercom near the entrance and enter the verification code to unlock the key.The key is auto-lock.
For check-out, select the reservation card you want to check out from the app's Key section and then select Check-out.
After settling the charges for your stay, we will inform you of the payment details in the app.

Facilities
Operation of Equipment in the House
In the house, you can adjust the indoor environment and operate the equipment using the iPads installed.
However, there are no switches to operate the equipment in the house, so please use the iPad in the room to operate them.

Appliances
As it varies by house, please check your app's house AMENITIES information for details.
1. Select the house you want to know the amenities for from Explore in the app.
2. Check the details of the selected house. You can see the appliances in AMENITIES.
Kitchen Supplies
Basic cooking utensils, dishes, and cutlery are provided in the house.
If you have any questions, please contact the concierge via chat.
Use of In-house Convenience Store
Within the house, an unmanned convenience store is established, stocked with daily necessities and light meals essential for living. It offers a selection of drinks, food, dry goods, daily necessities, and apparel.
Convenience Store Menu
There is no need for immediate payment. The cost will be settled after checkout, along with any other expenses incurred during your stay.
Furthermore, the house is equipped with coffee beans, tea, and openers, among other items, available for your complimentary use. Please do not hesitate to take advantage of these amenities.
Amenities
You can find detailed information on the amenities available in our houses on the app's house detail page under the AMENITIES section. For a comprehensive understanding of the amenities and equipment provided, please refer to the relevant section.
Please note that amenities sets and extra beds for guests exceeding the standard occupancy will incur additional charges.
The cost for an amenities set (including items such as a toothbrush and pajamas) is ¥1,815 (inclusive of tax and service charges), and for an extra bed (including a pillow, duvet, and mattress), the cost is ¥4,235 (inclusive of tax and service charges).
Should you require additional amenities sets or extra beds, please request them via the chat feature of our concierge service. (Towels will be provided for the number of guests.)

Meals
Your reserved meals can be confirmed through the app.

Paid Options: Amenities & Extra Beds
For guests exceeding the standard occupancy, amenities such as toothbrushes and pajamas, as well as extra beds, will be charged. (Towels are provided free of charge for all guests.) For more details on amenities and equipment, please refer to the relevant section. If needed, you can add these through the app at the time of booking or by contacting the concierge.
Tesla Usage
At each location, we have a number of Teslas available for use as a mode of transportation during your stay. You can reserve a Tesla in advance by checking the usage method.
Heating for Private Pools
Houses with private pools offer the option of heating upon request, allowing for the enjoyment of a warm pool. If you wish for the pool to be heated, please request this via the concierge at least two days before your stay.
BBQ & Pot Cooking Tools Rental
We offer a complete set of BBQ grills and pot cooking tools (pot, ladle, etc.) for a rental fee of ¥9,680 (inclusive of tax and service charges).
Horseback Riding Reservations (Nasu Only)
We facilitate horseback riding reservations at Nasu Farm Village. If interested, please contact us via the concierge chat feature.
Early Check-In & Late Check-Out
Subject to reservation status, we offer early check-in and late check-out for a fee of ¥12,100 per hour (inclusive of tax and service charges).
Full Cleaning
Cleaning is conducted between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. For stays shorter than three consecutive nights, while light cleaning is provided, a full cleaning service can be arranged for a fee.
Full Cleaning: ¥33,880 (inclusive of tax and service charges)

Children's Amenities
When booking, please enter the ages of any children in your party. We provide amenities sets tailored to their ages, including children's toothbrushes and toothpaste, and pajamas in kids' sizes (90-110cm) and junior sizes (120-140cm). *Not available for children under the age of 0.
Children's Cutlery
Based on the ages entered at the time of booking, we prepare children's cutlery in the house for your stay. Availability is limited, and we may not be able to fulfill all requests.
Children's Meals NOT A HOTEL offers special menus for children. If you opt for breakfast and dinner during your stay, we will prepare meals for children aged 7 to 12 as part of the number of guests.
